A kind of response to the pandemic, the network is an analogy of the connections between us.  The set up in Houdini (the software I use to create it) is pretty much automated. 

It can easily generate thousands of variations on this theme. The plotting is trickier though. 
I’m still trying to perfect a way of doing nice block colour. Pens tend to block or run out of flow.
